project purpose
The purpose of the project is to address the vehicular and pedestrian safety concerns, congestion mitigation, and capacity preservation at the US Route 221 (Oakley Ave) and Route 163 (Memorial Ave) intersection. The study intersection is identified as VTrans Priority 1 Node; and the project aims to identify medium and long-term solutions for vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians.
