survey
The survey regarding potential transportation safety and operations improvements along Route 23 in Weber City from the Tennessee state line to Route 58/Wadlow Gap in Scott County is complete.
project purpose
The purpose of this study will be to analyze the operational and safety issues identified along US 23 between the TN Stateline and the US 58 intersection in Scott County. This corridor has a high number of crashes attributed to poor spacing between the intersections and various site access driveways located along the corridor, which impacts the reliability of the US 23 corridor. The objective of this study is to identify cost-effective preferred improvement alternatives that address the deficient conditions and minimize ROW impacts.
